So for some reason I confess more often when its all in one thread. I am way too lazy this time to think of an episode title or keep track of how many people are still in the game and so on. This one thread will have to do.
After my not all that terrible performance as Coach, I figured I'd give this another go. I need to make more AS games where I will be unceremoniously booted to pre-jury because I am just a masochist like that.
IDR why I picked Ami. Especially considering Yul was available as a rep choice in this series. FML. I need to come up with a backstory for Ami. Any kind of job is a strict no-no because that just never seems to work. I think I am going to be a college sophmore in Brooklyn College studying Accounting. It will be hard to pretend being from east coast because a.) I fucking hate east coast and I specifically hate Brooklyn. b.) I am up way way late at night and wake up late-ish in the morning. But -shrug- YOLO
I didn't expect the cast to be super talkative for some reason. But people have started talking during the check-in process it self. Which is a good sign. Way way better than the fucking Chronicles AS game that I am in where no one seems to be alive. I am expecting to be an early boot over there soon so I am gonna try harder here and let that game fuck itself. But don't tell that to those Hosts. Shhhhhh.
I will wait to do a first impressions type thing-a-majig till I know tribes or I have talked to more than 5 people. But ya know, so far these people seem nice and fun. Which I didn't think I'd be saying about a cast for some reason.
Praying for there to be no cross-tribal talking though. Talking to 17 other bitches is not something I want to do.

I am so fucking bored. So screw waiting. Might as well do first impressions before I forget what these bitches said to me.
 Ok so he had his AIM s/n as Aren Williams or sth which I am assuming is his IRL name. I told him to change it and all and joked about my own alias goofups in the past (signing up as thenavneet in Warriors 3. SMDH) He is a rather chill guy. Homeschooled from Britain apparently and looking to go into STEM. I had a nice chat with him. The rep choice definitely helps. I think I flirted with him?? Not sure. Too lazy to go back and check. I have talked to 5 people so far so I'll rank him #2 on my list. Said list will be at the end of this post  Easily my favorite so far. Very nice and smooth conversation about comic book movies/TV shows. Definitely flirted with him. I might bring up working together or some shit like that with him. It's not like he is gonna say no. Which brings up something I have always wanted to do in a game. At some point during this game if someone asks me about working together/being allies I am legitimately going to say "No. Sorry. I don't think we'd work well together". And I just really really want to see what the reaction to that will be. But not with Max LOL. I actually do want to work with him. #1 for me as of now.  Can I just say first of all that I HATE John Kenney as a rep. Because it reminds me of Patrick Sullivan. I hate that bitch. It also reminds me of a game that I don't like to be reminded of. And whoever this fucker is, he is using the same AIM display pic that Patrick used. It just fucking triggers me so much AAARRRGGGGGHHHHH. That being said, this JK is decent even though he can be a tad boring. Not all bad though. Undergrad looking to go into Comp Sci. And he puts efforts into small talk which is a criminally underrated quality in these games imo. #3.  Who picks Michelle Chase?? IDER what season she was on. Gabon? Tocantins? -shrug- This Michelle is pretty mehhhh. Nursing student. But like, forgettable since I legit forgot what I spoke with her. Nice enough and I will put her at #4 for now.  Ok so I have some serious issues with this person. It's not that they are bad. Not at all. They seem perfectly nice and super friendly. But TWICE now, very recently, I have come across the type of person that this player gives me vibes of. Both times I chose to align myself with them because I liked the energy and the spunk. And both, FUCKING, times, I was royally screwed over when they go batshit crazy and/or do stupid shit that fucks me over either immediately or long term and tanks my game. So TYVM but no fucking way am I aligning with this person. I'd rather align myself with a boring, monotonous, robotic individual because at the very least I can predict what they will do. But NOPE to Andrea. #5 Because I have literally only talked to 5 people thus far but you better believe she will keep sliding down my list. If for some reason I forget my own advice and align with Andrea, I will smack my forehead so hard when I look back on this and reread my first impression of her. ~The list~1. Max Dawson 2. Yul Kwon 3. John Kenney 4. Michelle Chase 5. Andrea Boehlke For all intents and purposes, that is my bootlist. I will probably post it in the welcome thread too. Why not.

So I haven't updated in a while. Not much has been happening anyways. But I am too bored to do any actual work while at work so here we are.
 First off, LOVE the rep choice. Now I am fairly certain I know who this person is. It's not a lock down for pound town but I have a solid hunch. And I am a huge fan of the shtick. He is actually my new favorite in this cast and we have talked a whole bunch through the past 2 days or so. I was rather bummed when I saw he wasn't on the same tribe as me. Speaking of tribes. ~THE BRAINS~  Ok first off. How the hell am I not on brawns. Literally the only thing people think about me and my game as of late is IC competence. Now ublaz made a very nice post about a Brains v Brawns v Beauties split. Being on the brain or brawn tribes is not a great way to start the game. Because of the tendency of other players to pigeonhole you into one category. Brains aka "Oh he/she is a strategic threat. Gotta be wary and guarded around them". Brawns aka "Oh he/she will beast all the ICs. Early merge boots anyone?" But Beauties are like the people who get the free pass. Because well beauties are expected to be the socially savvy ones and even though people know that, they ... don't care? IDK I just didn't want to be on the brains tribe I guess. But I suppose it will be funny if the Brains tribe turns out to be the one who can dominate in ICs (thanks to me ) Now on this tribe I am glad to be with Max and Yul. Yul and I haven't talked since the chat on Day 1. Same with Max I think. But there is at least a base there. Shontay ... err I mean PG messaged me as soon as tribes were revealed saying "Same tribe <3" Bitch we've literally never talked before. Give it a rest. Then I talked to Kass a bit today and she is so boring. Plus she said that she hates DanTheMan Lembo and thinks he is rude. Strike 2! As of right now my tribe ranking going from person who I like most at 1 to least at 5 is as follows: ~Ami's ranking of the Brains~ 1. Max Dawson 2. Yul Kwon 3. PG 4. Kass 5. Matty (not sure if this is actually the guy on our tribe but I cba to go and check) Besides this nothing of note. IDT. Andrea still freaks me the fuck out. I am so OTT with her in my chats. I play up the, for the lack of better phrasing, lesbian flirtatious chick shtick with Andrea so much but gosh does she give me some serious PTSD. I can't get into much details but like I really hope my life in the game never relies on a vote from Andrea.

I am so bored right now. If we win I will be even more bored. If we lose, I will slightly less bored. Yul has been inac. Kass is boring. Matty looks like a fun one but I haven't gotten around to talking to him. Max is great. Wouldn't be surprised if he was the most connected on our tribe. PG is erratic. We're off to an annoyingly slow start. |
